Hard Freeze Service & Repair Realities
A historic cold snap gripped Texas for almost a week in February. Many residents were without power and even drinkable water. It was a costly natural disaster and set thousands of records for low temperatures and overall cold duration. As a result of the incredible cold, we experienced a hard freeze in Texas that damaged many pools in the area. We are working hard to serve our customers and get needed repairs taken care of.
We want to take a minute to share where we are in this process so you, our valued customers, can understand our timeframes and what to expect.
Thousands of Customers Were Affected
One of the things that made this hard freeze so historic is that the entire state of Texas was blanketed in sub-freezing temperatures. This means we’ve had thousands of calls from our pool customers.
Of course, it takes time to handle all of these requests. As you might imagine, it’s challenging when everyone you serve needs help at the same time, but we are committed to providing the service you expect.
We are working our way through each service and repair call and are ensuring that each one of our customers receives the care and attention they deserve. We want to provide the best possible service in as timely a manner as we can.
We Have a Purchase Order in With Our Manufacturer
When everyone needs help simultaneously, our regular inventory of parts and supplies is quickly exhausted. We anticipated this and placed an early purchase order with our equipment manufacturer. However, the pandemic is still affecting manufacturing supply chains, and as a result, equipment is on backorder. We are working with Jandy to get the equipment as soon as possible, but at this time, we don’t have specific arrival dates available.
These are unprecedented times, and everything is taking longer than it would normally. We understand how frustrating that is to you — it is for us as well! However, rest assured that we are doing everything we can to resolve the situation quickly.
We Value Our Customers Above All
We know how frustrating it is to have a pool that you cannot use for some time. We don’t want this situation to persist longer than it has to and are working hard to get the supplies we need to work through the service requests.
You, our customers, matter to us and remain our number one priority. We are working around the clock to resolve the many issues that the deep freeze has caused. We are committed to providing the superior customer service you’ve come to expect from us.
We are working hard to have everyone’s pool fixed and ready to go for the swim season right around the corner. We know how important it is to you and your family to have that outlet for entertainment and fun.
